The Kypreos Group of Companies, as an active member of the civil engineering, road construction  and asphalt industries does not operate in isolation from the community or the environment and as such strives to implement a socially responsible model of business across all of its endeavours.

 

The projects, the Kypreos Group of Companies complete require all of us to be conscious about not only doing a great job for our clients, but to be socially and environmentally responsible for future generations. The Kypreos Group takes responsibility of its actions and  position as part of a complex ecosystem of people and environments, which interact together. In this respect, the Kypreos Group is committed to its people and the sustainability of the future. The Kypreos Group endeavours to use the safest and most environmentally friendly products, encourage the commitment to sustainable actions and strives to be socially responsible.

 

Environmental Sustainability

The Kypreos Group has implemented the following environmental sustainability practices;

  • The use of recycled asphalt products (RAP) based mixes,
  • Lowered carbon footprint due to use of RAP,
  • Implementation of environmental 'best practices' regarding site water run off,
  • Continual plant maintenance and retrofitting of equipment to lower emissions,
  • Selection of equipment in consideration to environmental outcomes.

 

Social Sustainability

The Kypreos Group aims to reduce its negative impact upon society and increase its positive influence through the following;

  • State of the art asphalt mix designs which supply economical, durable pavements for modern road requirements,

  • Customer focused, flexible approach to provide quality solutions,

  • Long-term planning to service growth centres and established communities throughout New South Wales,

  • Consultation with members of the public prior to, and throughout the duration of construction,

  • Support of local community groups, such as sporting clubs, schools and charities.
